Luggage storage at Agadir Al Massira airport: what actually exists (and the better option in town)

It happens on almost every Agadir departure day. The room goes back at noon, the plane leaves at 8 or 9 in the evening, and you are left with eight hours and two suitcases. The first instinct is usually the most expensive one — «we will drop the bags at the airport and come back into town». At Al Massira, that plan falls apart. Short answer Agadir Al Massira airport has no left-luggage service you can rely on, and that is almost beside the point: it sits about 30 kilometres from the centre, roughly half an hour by road. Dropping your bags there and coming back to the beach means paying for two rides that buy you nothing. The beach, the marina, the Agadir Oufella kasbah, Souk El Had — all of it is in town. Your bags need to be on the same side of the map as you. So the real question is not «where do I store bags at the airport», but «where do I store them so that I do not have to go back to the airport early». Pricing is simple: 9 MAD per hour per bag, capped at 59 MAD a day. Five hours on the beach costs less than a single taxi ride to the airport. Timing an evening flight 12:00 — check out, petit taxi to the drop-off point, five minutes at the counter. 12:30 to 17:00 — beach, grilled fish near the port, the cable car up to the Agadir Oufella kasbah, last argan shopping at Souk El Had. 17:30 — collect the bags. Leave margin: the point closes in the early evening, earlier on Saturday, and does not open on Sunday.
