The Atlas Lions play Niger twice in five days, and the first game is in Casablanca: Friday 13 November 2026 at 8pm, at the Complexe Mohammed V, on matchday three of the 2027 AFCON qualifiers. Morocco top Group A after two 2-0 wins, against Gabon and then Lesotho.
A Friday night in the middle of Casablanca: many fans will come by train from Rabat, Kenitra, Tangier or Fez, with a bag for the day or for one night. Here is how to plan the trip from Casa-Voyageurs, and above all what to do with your luggage when the match ends after 10pm.
Short answer
Kick-off is on Friday 13 November at 8pm at the Complexe Mohammed V, in Maârif, about 5 km from Casa-Voyageurs. BoxSpot's point near the station, Troplo Coffee Casa Voyageurs, is open from 7am to 10pm on Fridays: it will be closed when you leave the stadium. Two options: collect a small bag before the match, or leave your suitcase until Saturday morning (open 7am to 7pm). Ticketing had not been announced at the time of writing.
What we know about the match
- Fixture: Morocco vs Niger, matchday three of Group A in the 2027 AFCON qualifiers.
- Date and time: Friday 13 November 2026, kick-off at 8pm (Moroccan time, GMT).
- Venue: Complexe Mohammed V, Maârif district, Casablanca.
- The return game: Tuesday 17 November at 8pm, at the Prince Moulay Abdellah stadium in Rabat. Both games are played in Morocco because Niger has no approved stadium, according to Afrik-Foot. We wrote a separate guide for the Rabat match.
These dates and venues are the ones announced by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation in mid-October and reported by the Moroccan press. A few older articles named other stadiums: go by the latest official announcement.
Tickets: nothing official yet
At the time of writing, ticket sales have not opened. Watch the FRMF's official channels (website and social media): that is where the opening date, prices and sales platform will be announced.
For reference, at the previous Morocco vs Niger, in September 2025 in Rabat, the FRMF sold tickets only on Webook, from 100 MAD (category 3) to 20,000 MAD (skybox), and the match sold out. That is a precedent, not an announcement: wait for the official word. Avoid resales on social media or classified ads, and be wary of resale sites: at least one already lists a "Morocco vs Niger on 11 November in Fez" that does not exist.
Arriving at Casa-Voyageurs for the day
Casa-Voyageurs is Casablanca's main station: the Al Boraq high-speed train arrives from Tangier, Kenitra and Rabat-Agdal, and Al Atlas trains from Fez, Meknes or Marrakech. Before booking, check the time of the last train back on oncf-voyages.ma. An 8pm match ends around 10pm, and you then have to get out of the stadium and across town: do not count on a train right after the final whistle. Many fans coming from far away stay the night and travel back on Saturday.
If you fly into Mohammed V airport, about 25 km from the stadium, BoxSpot also has a point in Bouskoura, near the station.
From Casa-Voyageurs to the Complexe Mohammed V
The stadium is west of the centre, in Maârif, about 5 km from the station. Two options:
- The tram: line T1 stops in front of Casa-Voyageurs. The stadium itself is served by tram line T2 and busway BW2, according to Casa Transport. Plan your route, with the change, on the tram website or app before match day. During AFCON 2025, the network was reinforced from three hours before matches until one hour after: check whether something similar is announced.
- Petit taxi (red in Casablanca): handy during the day, much less so on a match night. Streets around the stadium are often blocked and traffic is very slow.
Either way, leave early. Gates open before kick-off and security checks take time.
Why go to the stadium without a suitcase
Big stadiums check bags at the entrance and restrict anything bulky. A suitcase or a large travel bag will slow you down at the gates, if it gets in at all, and then you will carry it for two hours in the stands and through the crowd on the way out. We gave the same advice for Morocco vs Ghana in Tangier in October, and it applies even more on a Friday night in Casablanca.
Where to leave your bags: Troplo Coffee Casa Voyageurs
BoxSpot's partner point is a café in the Chadia neighbourhood, on the La Villette side, about a 17-minute walk from Casa-Voyageurs or a few minutes by petit taxi. You show your booking, the staff scan your QR code and take a time-stamped photo of your bags, and they are only handed back against the same QR code.
- Friday 13 November: 7am to 10pm.
- Saturday 14 November: 7am to 7pm.
- Sunday 15 November: 10am to 6pm.
The honest part: with an 8pm kick-off, the match ends around 10pm, 5 km from the café. You will not be able to collect your bags the same night. Pick one of the two plans below before you book.
Plan 1: you travel light
You only have a small backpack, small enough to get through stadium security. Drop it when you arrive, explore the city hands-free, then pick it up around 5:30 or 6pm before taking the tram or a taxi to Maârif. If you have the afternoon, the Hassan II Mosque and the corniche are a short taxi ride away.
Plan 2: you have a suitcase
Do not take it to the stadium. Book until the next day and collect it on Saturday between 7am and 7pm, before your train home. You go to the match hands-free, sleep in Casablanca and stop by the café in the morning.
How much it costs
The rate is 9 MAD per hour per bag, with a 4-hour minimum (36 MAD). An hourly booking never costs more than 59 MAD for the first bag for the day, then 39 MAD for each following day. An extra bag costs 49 MAD on day one, then 39 MAD a day.
| Situation | Price |
|---|---|
| Plan 1: drop at 11am, collect at 5pm (6 hours), 1 bag | 54 MAD |
| Plan 1: drop at 10am, collect at 6pm (8 hours), 1 bag | 59 MAD |
| Plan 2: Friday to Saturday morning, 1 suitcase | 59 + 39 = 98 MAD |
| Plan 2: two friends, two suitcases, until Saturday | 98 + 88 = 186 MAD |
Payment is online, by card, in dirhams. The exact price is shown before you pay, on the Troplo Coffee Casa Voyageurs page.
The match, hands-free
