Prohibited or Excluded Items

1) Strictly Prohibited Items

Are strictly prohibited, without this list being exhaustive, all goods, substances, objects, materials, products or contents (i) illicit, (ii) dangerous, (iii) harmful, (iv) incompatible with the nature of a luggage storage service operated within a business, and notably:

• (a) Illicit / prohibited substances and products: narcotics (cannabis, resin, oils, derivatives, cocaine, heroin, amphetamines, MDMA, LSD, mushrooms, etc.), controlled substances, synthetic drugs, precursors, cutting agents, products intended for manufacturing illicit substances;
• (b) Risky / regulated pharmaceutical and medical products: prescription medications, psychotropics, controlled substances, doping products, treatments requiring strict conditions (cold chain, secure storage), unidentified substances;
• (c) Weapons and offensive equipment: firearms (all categories), essential elements, magazines, ammunition, cartridges, casings, spare parts, realistic replicas, deactivated weapons, dummy weapons or objects resembling a weapon that could cause alarm; bladed weapons (knives, daggers, blades, swords, cutters, industrial razors, sabers), batons, tonfas, brass knuckles, projectiles, bows/crossbows, arrows, self-defense devices comparable to weapons;
• (d) Explosives / pyrotechnics / ignition devices: explosives, detonators, fuses, powders, fireworks, firecrackers, pyrotechnic devices, oxidizing substances, any triggering device;
• (e) Gas / pressurized / aerosols: gas cylinders and cartridges (butane/propane/CO2), refills, pressurized cylinders, aerosols in quantity, pressurized products presenting a risk;
• (f) Flammables / fuels / solvents: gasoline, fuels, petroleum, kerosene, denatured alcohol, solvents, thinners, acetone, terpenes, solvent glues, flammable varnishes/paints, highly flammable liquids;
• (g) Corrosive / toxic / chemically dangerous: acids, strong bases, concentrated ammonia, concentrated chlorine, laboratory products, reagents, pesticides, dangerous insecticides, poisons, rodenticides, toxic/carcinogenic/irritant substances, radioactive substances, ionizing sources, contaminated materials;
• (h) Biological / infectious / medical waste: blood, tissues, samples, biological specimens, syringes (even new if suspicious), needles, medical waste, contaminated products, any element at infectious risk;
• (i) Perishables / putrescible / nuisances: perishable foods, prepared dishes, meat/fish/dairy, products susceptible to mold, waste, odorous materials, products attracting pests (insects/rodents), soiling substances;
• (j) Risky liquids and containers: any liquid not hermetically sealed, fragile containers, products susceptible to leakage, oils/staining products, corrosive liquids, volatile substances;
• (k) Living beings / sentient creatures: animals (all species), insects, reptiles, rodents, living plants requiring care, aquariums, etc.;
• (l) Stolen goods / receiving / fraud: stolen objects, goods from offenses, receiving, goods whose origin cannot be justified in case of suspicion;
• (m) Counterfeiting / illegal merchandise: counterfeits, illegal copies, pirated goods, goods infringing third-party rights (trademarks, copyrights), manifestly illicit media;
• (n) 'Structurally incompatible' objects: furniture, pallets, industrial parcels, wholesale commercial goods, bulky objects, heavy loads, any goods manifestly exceeding dimension/weight/volume limits, any goods requiring a specific environment (temperature, humidity, enhanced security);
• (o) Illegal surveillance/intrusion equipment: spy devices, equipment manifestly intended for illegal intrusion/surveillance, fraud software/equipment, etc. (when identifiable);
• (p) Any good/object that, generally, is likely to endanger persons, the Drop-off Point, third parties, or expose BoxSpot/Partner to legal, criminal, regulatory, insurance, health or reputational risk.

In the presence of reasonable doubt, deposit may be refused, Reservation suspended, and competent authorities may be contacted according to the situation.

2) Excluded Items (possible deposit as tolerance - no coverage / no compensation / at Client's risk)

Are excluded from any coverage and deemed deposited at the Client's sole risk (zero compensation, no handling, no guarantee), even if not refused at deposit:

• (a) Monetary values and similar: cash, checks, securities, vouchers, prepaid cards, payment means, coupons, gift cards, cryptographic wallets (hardware wallets), seed phrases, precious metals, gold, precious stones, bullion;
• (b) Jewelry, watches, luxury, collection: jewelry, watches, precious accessories, high-value luxury bags/items, collectibles, rare items, works of art, antiques;
• (c) Original and sensitive documents: passports, identity cards, licenses, residence permits, visas, bank documents, original contracts, notarial deeds, original legal documents, original diplomas, keys (home/car/safe), access badges;
• (d) Professional / audiovisual / high value electronics equipment: cameras, lenses, drones, stabilizers, studio equipment, expensive instruments, high-value work equipment, prototypes, commercial samples, computers, servers, hard drives containing critical data;
• (e) Intangible data and content: data loss, confidentiality, file corruption, data security breaches (not covered);
• (f) Fragile objects / breakage: glass, porcelain, bottles, fragile instruments, objects sensitive to shocks/pressure;
• (g) Unique/irreplaceable objects: unique souvenirs, archives, objects of particular sentimental value;
• (h) Electronics and batteries: smartphones, laptops, tablets, consoles (tolerated but not covered in case of breakage/failure), high-capacity external batteries, detached batteries (tolerated or refused according to risk);
• (i) Goods not conforming to 'luggage' format: goods intended for resale, commercial lots, any object outside normal locker use;
• (j) Any good whose value exceeds, per bag, the standard ceiling defined in the T&C (e.g., 300 MAD), and more generally any good presenting an atypical value not expressly declared/accepted.

3) General Clause (non-exhaustive + right of refusal + security)

This annex is indicative and non-exhaustive.

Are deemed prohibited, even if not listed, all Goods: (i) contrary to law, public order or morality, (ii) dangerous, toxic, flammable, corrosive, pressurized, (iii) perishable or likely to cause nuisance, (iv) requiring particular conditions of conservation or security, (v) incompatible with the nature of temporary deposit operated within a business, or (vi) likely to expose BoxSpot and/or a Partner to legal, criminal, health, insurance, financial or reputational risk. BoxSpot and/or the Partner reserve, in any case, the right to refuse any deposit in case of reasonable doubt, isolate the luggage if necessary, suspend the Reservation and cooperate with competent authorities in accordance with applicable law.
